The Ouadane Culture and Heritage Festival is a cultural and developmental initiative launched by the Municipality of Ouadane to showcase the city’s civilisational heritage, revive its historical memory, and strengthen its standing as one of Mauritania’s most illustrious historic cities. Each edition of the festival is held under the name of a prominent figure from Ouadane, in recognition of local personalities who have contributed to culture, heritage and society.
