The Municipality of Ouadane was established under Law No. 289/87, issued on 20 October, and became one of the officially recognized municipalities of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania. Its main responsibilities include:

Cleaning Worker

As an administrative assistant, she organises administrative files, archives documents, and welcomes residents and answers their questions — strengthening efficiency and transparency in the municipality's administrative work.
Administrative and Financial Officer
Mariem has long experience managing administrative and financial affairs at the Municipality of Ouadane, having served as administrative and financial officer for more than fifteen years. She holds a baccalaureate, a first-cycle degree in economics, and a master's degree in economics from the University of Nouakchott, with strong skills in financial analysis and budget management, always pursuing efficiency and transparency.
Tourism Officer
In charge of the tourism portfolio at the Municipality of Ouadane. After his secondary education he joined the network of tourist guides, gaining valuable experience in tourism, before joining the municipality, where he has looked after visitors for several years. He works to provide the best service, strengthen this vital sector and support sustainable development in the region.
